Hi!

I’m so happy you’re interested in becoming a recipe partner with me! Let’s get straight to the details!

A little about Meal Planning Blueprints…

I don’t create and blog about my own recipes here. This is strictly a meal planning site – my goal is for my readers to come here to learn how to meal plan, find pre-made meal plans, or work with me in creating custom meal plans for their families.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”3.0.47″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

Target Audience >>

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

My target audience is the busy mom aged 25-35 that wants to feed her family home-cooked meals (and as little processed food as possible) but maybe she wasn’t shown how to do this because both her parents worked or she simply doesn’t like to cook! She prefers all natural items and might be labeled as “crunchy” or “hippie” but she doesn’t care, she just wants her kids exposed to as little chemicals as possible so she uses Method cleaners, Honest diapers, and mason jars instead of tupperware. She either has no idea how meal planning can help her, or has meal planned in the past and just wants to up her game.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”3.0.47″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.51″]

My Vision >>

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.51″]

My vision (and how you tie in!): I want to create a library of pre-made monthly meal plans using my Mix + Match system. Basically, without getting into too many details – these plans are made using a set number of ingredients for the entire month (37 is my goal number) and you can “mix and match” the ingredients to make any of the 35 dinners on the meal plan. Since I obviously don’t create recipes here, I need the recipes to make this happen! The monthly meal plans will be complete with recipes and grocery lists (total and one for each week) so that she can simply print out one document and have everything at her fingertips! Your recipe link will be included, and possibly a picture on the cover or in the promotional posts.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”3.0.47″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

For You >>

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

What’s in it for you? Ideally, we’d have 7-10 recipe partners featured in each meal plan and all recipe partners will receive:

  • a 40% payout for each meal plan sold through your link
  • your website logo on my site in a “Recipe Partners” section
  • repeated mention in my blog posts and emails to my customers
  • a copy of the meal plan you are featured in

What I’m looking for:

  • simple recipes that don’t use a ton of ingredients, and are mostly free of processed food
  • a large library of recipes to choose (more of your recipes to make it on to the meal plan!)
  • partners that see the benefit of consistent and ethical promotion (the more plans sell, the more you make!)

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”3.0.47″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

Q&A

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”How will you select the bloggers you feature? And will you look for new ones or just stick with the ones that you already have? ” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

My priority is the recipes and if they fit within a particular meal plan, and for my audience (wholesome foods + family friendly). If your recipe fits, and I want to include it in that plan, then that’s really the criteria. That being said, since I do want this to be a partnership, I don’t want to have 100 bloggers to choose from! The more my options are limited, the easier that makes my life. This is really just an opportunity for you to say “yes, you may use my recipe in your meal plan and if you do, I’d love to help promote it, and get paid for it”.
I may look for new bloggers to add to the group, but I don’t want “recipe-searching” to take up so much of my time so I guess the answer is this – I will occasionally look for new bloggers to add as this expands but if I’m happy with the current pool of recipes, then there won’t be a need for it to happen often.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Do you choose the recipes or do the bloggers send them to you? How would the recipes included in the meal plans be selected? Are they submitted by me, created specifically for a certain set of ingredients/meal plan or pulled directly from my site?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

I would prefer to choose the recipes to fit into certain meal plans, I think that would be easier than putting out a “call” for recipes, although that’s totally an option. Read more below on how I’m coming up with the meal plans and it may make more sense.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Are you including the full recipe or adding a link back to our site?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

I know this is probably the most concerning point for all of you. My #1 priority is simplicity for the customer: purchase the meal plan, download, print, and follow. And I understand that how you make money is obviously with traffic, and that’s why there will be payment for the meal plans that are sold (more on that below). That being said, to make it super easy for the customers, I will be including the full recipe but here will be multiple places for your link (see below) in the PDF if they want to click.
I also want to add that I will have sections on my website dedicated to promoting my “Recipe Partners” and I plan on promoting you to my email list and social media channels. Meal plans are nothing without recipes! They are the star of the show and your drool-worthy pictures will draw people in!

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Are you looking for exclusive recipes? Who will own the recipes used?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

No, I am not looking for exclusive recipes. As for who will own them – they are your recipes, not mine! and I certainly don’t plan on taking credit for them. There will be many references and links to show that the recipe is yours.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”How many photos from the blog will be used for each recipe? And who retains the rights from the photos?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

One photo would be sufficient. The photo could be used for the cover, table of contents, and any social media posts. You retain the right to the original photos, the collages as a whole are obviously my property but it’s not something I’m overly concerned about others stealing.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Are the recipes you are looking for general recipes or inspired by a specific region?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

Either. I may do some “global” meal plans, especially if the ingredients overlap, but I’m really just looking to have a variety of dinner recipes that are family friendly and don’t include a lot of processed foods. Since my audience in primarily in the US, conversions may be an issue but it won’t exclude you – if I want to use a recipe, I might ask you to convert the ingredients for me.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”What kind of a commitment do you need from bloggers?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

The commitments are simple: if your recipe(s) is/are included in a meal plan, help promote that meal plan on your site and on your social media channels. If ever you don’t want to participate anymore, you simply let me know and I will take your site off of my list going forward (the meal plans in production already would remain as-is, it would be too hard to go back and re-work them). I would also ask that you not share the paid plans with anyone, as well as my technique or process, since y’all will get the behind the scenes look at how I’m creating these. I know meal plans aren’t rocket science but I’m really hoping to do something kinda “new” with meal planning!

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”When do you intend to start compiling the meal plans and what is your monthly expectation in terms of recipe contribution (how many and when)? ” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

I’ve started compiling some smaller meal plans already using my own recipes (without pictures ? sadly). These smaller plans will be used as lead magnets to get names/emails of who is interested. When this launches to our audiences (July 2017), there will be 3-4 meal plans already created and my main goal is to continue to create meal plans every month based on customer needs and feedback.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Can you share more details with examples?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

Sure! Meal plans will have a theme – 30 minute meals, chicken only, paleo, gluten free, allergy-friendly, etc.
The plans themselves will follow my Capsule Pantry system – which is basically showing people they can create unlimited meals on a limited set of ingredients for an entire month – helping to simplify their dinners, grocery shopping, and grocery budget. If you’re familiar with a capsule wardrobe, that’s what I want to do with the pantry! If you want more insight into the system, here are some resources on it:
Capsule Pantry Information Page
Capsule Pantry Blueprint™ Course Sales Page
As for the layout of the Meal Plans themselves:
  • Cover
  • Recipe list (with links)
  • Calendar to print out (with links)
  • Grocery lists (one overall, 5 weekly)
  • Individual Recipes (Name, source, and link on each one)

You can download my current Mini Mix + Match Meal Plan that I’m using as a free lead magnet. Layout will be a similar style.

I also would like to send out a survey about 30 days after each person buys one, asking which recipes they tried, if they loved them, feedback, and reminding them to visit your site.
I want to point out, there will be multiple meal plans released every month, so there’s an opportunity to be included in (and promote) more than one plan every month.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”What is the payout per meal plan (and what % is that of the entire profit)? How do you determine? Are you going to be adding an affiliate program on top of payment for each recipe used? ” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

I didn’t originally include the details because I was still working it out. I contemplated between paying per blogger, paying per recipe, and affiliate payouts. I think the one that makes the most sense all around, is the simplest to maintain, and has the best chance for you to control your income, would be setting it up as an affiliate product. That also allows for all the bloggers to share and promote (win/win for all!) and earn an income, even if they’re not included in a particular plan.
I’m planning on pricing the meal plans at $17 (that could change in the future but I think it’s a good price point for now). Affiliate payout would be 40% = $6.80 to you for every single meal plan you sell. Depending on your audience size, it could be a profitable venture every month! I’ve set up the affiliate program to include the meal plans (once available) and my current courses. You can go here to learn more and get the registration link.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”What is your audience size currently?” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

This particular site’s audience is still small but don’t count me out just yet! ? This is my second site and I just started it a month ago and gaining great traction with page views and followers. The Capsule Pantry posts are by far the most popular and in May 2017 I had over 5,000 page views. I have a small but engaged email list (a little over 1000) that grows every single day, and a waiting list for pre-made meal plans. Everyone I’ve talked to about this loves the idea so I think with a solid plan and partners, this has the potential for great success!

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”How will we know what’s going out when? ” admin_label=”Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

Here is my overall vision for communication:
We have a Facebook group where I communicate to you what plans I’m working on, what the ingredient list is, images and links that we all need (for the plans and affiliates and such). If I need to put a “call” for recipes, or we need to discuss something as a group, that’s where I would do it. You would also be able to share new recipes (probably on certain promotion days to keep it simple) and ask questions to other bloggers. If done right, this could be a really great group that interacts with each other and helps each other ?

[/et_pb_toggle][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”3.0.47″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.0.47″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

If you’re interested in learning more (no commitment, just joining the conversation!) please complete this and I’ll send you an email:

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_code admin_label=”Code” _builder_version=”3.0.51″]<a class="typeform-share button" href="https://elisa136.typeform.com/to/w2ryyO" data-mode="popup" style="display:inline-block;text-decoration:none;background-color:#bf317f;color:white;cursor:pointer;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:20px;line-height:50px;text-align:center;margin:0;height:50px;padding:0px 33px;border-radius:0px;max-width:100%;white-space:nowrap;overflow:hidden;text-overflow:ellipsis;font-weight:bold;-webkit-font-smoothing:antialiased;-moz-osx-font-smoothing:grayscale;" target="_blank">Registration Form </a> <script> (function() { var qs,js,q,s,d=document, gi=d.getElementById, ce=d.createElement, gt=d.getElementsByTagName, id="typef_orm_share", b="https://embed.typeform.com/"; if(!gi.call(d,id)){ js=ce.call(d,"script"); js.id=id; js.src=b+"embed.js"; q=gt.call(d,"script")[0]; q.parentNode.insertBefore(js,q) } })() </script>[/et_pb_code][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”3.0.50″]

I’m hoping that this will be an evolving, working relationship and friendship as a group and I want it to be as beneficial to everyone as possible. If something isn’t working for someone, let’s talk about it!

Is this a hack? I don’t know if it’s a hack. B Is this a hack? I don’t know if it’s a hack. But it’s definitely changed me from hating baking to *liking* baking.

I actually find it 🎉 EASY 🎉 (if you knew how much I hated to bake you’d understand!)

Especially since I started sourdough. I can’t believe I waited so long because I thought it would be hard or time consuming!

It has actually simplified cooking at home and you know me… I’m chasing simple!
